Why doesn’t incense set off my smoke alarm?

My smoke alarm is so sensitive that even with a plastic bag over it, going off within moments of frying any food. Even if the food isn 't the burning, the smoke alarm goes off immediately. However, I can burn a full cone or stick incense and the smoke alarm does not go off. I can see smoke come out the real, and it doesn 't set the alarm! Why?

How sensitive are dorm smoke detectors? If I have cigarette with the window open, will this set off the alarm?

How long will my neighbor’s smoke alarm chirp?

Gojearán know that smoke alarms once every minute when the batteries need changing. The problem is my neighbor (who appears to be absent for the summer) with batteries death. For the past three days, the alarm has been issuing a short, sharp sound once every minute. Those hot summer nights, its window is open and so is ours. How much time! Does the sound signal of @ # $% before it works pretty juice to make a brief, sharp sound like this?

Is a smoke alarm damaging to my pet’s ears? When the battery goes low the sound scares the dog a lot?

When the battery becomes low in smoke alarm lets out a sound signal of the high pitch squeeking. I mean that the dog's ears are sensitive not only to hear a beep but perhaps a more powerful sound that we can 't hear. Is anyone aware of studies on the damage they can cause? Are the manufacturers of smoke alarms that are tested for safety animal? ¡Since the response to an important purpose in the house I'm thinking that has been overlooked this! Time to change the battery …
